Review of Godzilla NES

Games aren’t something I associate with myself as much as movies, but I’ve played my fair share. As a lifelong Godzilla fan, when I was younger, I was always fascinated with the idea of a Godzilla video game.  As most of you likely know, they have generally been less than stellar, but that didn’t keep me from giving them a whirl. Godzilla, Monster of Monsters for the NES was probably my first play at one and, while it is very much flawed, it is interesting and worth a look for fans of Toho’s science fiction films from the 60s and early 70s.

Review of DungeonQuest (3rd Edition)

 

At first glance, a review of Fantasy Flight’s DungeonQuest seems a little out of place. However, even though The Dusty Reel’s main content is composed of movie reviews, games, both table-top and on a TV screen, are a big part of my life. For that reason, I decided to add The Gaming Corner to the site. Along with that, I told myself, “what better way to start than with the third edition of DungeonQuest, the first board game I ever purchased for myself?”
